We are pleased to inform you that as of January 31, 2015, Civil Construction Contractor’s LLC. has worked 326,345.75 safe man hours in Dow since our last recordable incident. It has been 11 years since our last OSHA Recordable, which was on February 9, 2004.
In 2014 Civil Construction Contractors, LLC worked a total of 44,285.75 safe man hours inside of Dow-SCO. We as a company have worked hard and diligent at all levels from upper management to supervision to the field employees to set forth and implement a culture where SAFETY is the most important aspect of any job that we perform.
Throughout our previous years of service at SCO and currently, we are faced with the everyday challenges associated with daily maintenance and construction jobs to emergency fire water repairs, to call outs and the E-jobs. Every job to be performed no matter the size, cost or time constraint is approached in the same way, “how can we do this job safely”.
I’m very proud to say that we have accomplished implementing a culture that has instilled safety as our number one priority on every job that we perform here at Dow-SCO. By utilizing and adhering to the LIVE IT and PACE principles, we empower all of our workers with the knowledge and tools to accomplish their daily tasks and sometimes not so daily tasks, in the safest manner possible.
Our cultural philosophy of a 360 degree circle of safety, and the power of ONE, follows us in every facility that we perform work for in Louisiana!
We would like to thank not only our workers for this milestone, but all the leaders at DOW who encourage and challenge us to keep safety first and foremost. They remind us daily that safety is a culture not a routine. I think we have shown that safety is OUR culture! Whether you are at work, at home or at play, whatever you do, doing it safely is the only way!
